Do what you love~ In Memory Of Steve Jobs

"Your work is going to fill a large part of your life, and the only way to be truly satisfied is to do what you believe is great work. And the only way to do great work is to love what you do. If you haven't found it yet, keep looking. Don't settle. As with all matters of the heart, you'll know when you find it. And, like any great relationship, it just gets better and better as the years roll on." ~ Steve Jobs

Happy October~ Beautiful Fall Season

Learn perfection through Imperfection~ Diane "When the Japanese mend broken objects, they aggrandize the damage by filling the cracks with gold. They believe that when something's suffered damage and has a history it becomes more beautiful." ~Barbara Bloom

I don't know a person who has not been troubled or disturbed about something that has happened In their life, It Is all part of our human existence. Let where you have been, and what you know to be your history or damage, be turned to the opportunity to be mended & filled with gold. Let the beauty & light shine from within, In you, and by the experience of It all.....If you notice the most beautiful people have Spirits, that are unbreakable because they have lived harder lives, & their human sufferings never stop them. Be encouraged to live better lives, fill what needs mended.... Nurture strength of spirit to be beautiful, inspired & stronger than ever from your past experiences. Learn from It all. See the beauty of where past history can take you going forward....no excuses not to live your best life. Look for an opportunity to keep your life, heart & soul, as beautiful as a mended with gold vase. Fill In the cracks of your world with gold & beauty, let It shine~ Learn perfection, through Imperfection~ Let your history be your beauty~ Diane Masi

« Make me a channel of thy peace - St.Francis of Assisi » [HD]

Was searching this morning to post "Make me a Channel Of Your Peace," Ironically I happened to stumble upon Wayne Dyers daughter Sky Dyer singing my favorite song, (since singing It church from a very young age,) and the photos match my flower heart theme I posted today! :)

Find the Flowers Of Love In your Heart, Through Faith~ Diane Masi

When there Is true faith, an opening of the heart & complete trust In God, life Is truly amazing.... No one or nothing, can take away or destroy the beauty that lies In the heart. When you are In complete thought, complete prayer & openness to receive & trust God Into your heart, you truly become one. It Is an Indescribable Joy, you know & feel the presence & true love of the divine. God rests In you, and all around you.......This Is the greatest gift of all, If you know It & seek It you will have the greatest Epiphany In your daily life. Diane Masi

Be Yourself~ Careful of Celebrity Advertising.

Most days I reflect on the positive, however I feel the need to write on the issues of Celebrity-ism & mass advertising. Occasionally I watch a few TV network prime time shows, and I have to say I am disgusted with the bombarding of celebrity-ism. Every times you turn around, a new celebrity Is trying to capitalize and push their perfumes or clothing lines, Trying to mind suggest to everyone, to want to look like & be like them. I find It all disgusting.

There are great name designers out there who's clothing & scents, are their passion, creations, awesome~ they are good at what they do, and deliver It with belief In the fruit of their creations, bravo to them, for most It is art & a life long passion. Now we have the celebrity singer, TV personality, actors, & actresses pushing their lines, why don't they just do what they do best? After all they are singers & actors NOT designers. Not to say a celebrity can't come up with retailing something they create, but I believe most has become: let's capitalize on this, make more money off of people, this will sell, they want to look, be & smell like me...I view this as a greedy,(not being happy with the God given gifts they were given) shallow, narcissistic, capitalistic message & venture to make more money, at the expense of impressionable young minds, In an already really unbelievability shallow society, to make others want be like them, not some passion design, creation that they believe In, such as the true designers.

I feel sad at times, we send out this message, especially to our young, Be like someone else.....want what they are, have everything....We are living In an era where young forming minds are bombarded with horrible messages, reality TV, materialistic messages from some Celebrity's, have the best, be like me, I am great.... Kids walk around with plastic surgery & 900 dollar cell phones, wanting the finest of things, when the children have not even had a job yet, or saved for a college book, they want It all. We are watching & contributing to making children delusional. Even worse than that, parents succumbed to this as well, doing It themselves....copying others, placing all emphasis to be like a Celebrity, to be and model after them, to choice to be something you are not, rather than themselves.

I am curious if this type of role modeling or parenting ever puts any good messages out? To have some values, or belief In God, or respect for others & themselves, some inner soul work, rather than all the material, and outer things? Has the majority mindset of the young, to aspire only to model after a celebrity, and the Celebrity cashing In on It? Rather they could be giving more useful messages, to contribute to the young minds with their mighty influence~ Rather than running to the bank with more millions that they really do not necessarily, urgently need, they have been so blessed, why not do something of good quality or mentoring, with the exposure......

I find Irony In this quote by Judy Garland one of our legendary movie actresses & singer...
"Always be a first-rate version of yourself, instead of a second-rate version of somebody else."

I think we need to send the message, value who you are, be your self....let the inner light shine, stop trying to copy cat celebrity's, after all much airbrushing & bad messages to be someone other than yourself going on here. My words today; "Our biggest challenge in life is to be yourself, in a world that is trying to make you like everyone else. Just Be your true self" Diane Masi
