Our Children~Greatest Love Of All

Teach them~
So True~Diane

Purpose Of the Blog....Inspire, help the young minds....Stop The Bully's

There are many reasons I right this blog. I am an encourager, I like to Inspire, a gift I believe I was born with.

My hopes are to Inspire many In a world that seems to need much Hope, Peace and Love. To share with others some of the best sources of Inspirational people I have ever met. To help, to teach others how to Inspire our youth.

In today's culture, especially with the young, we have many challenges. I still see much good, many who make a difference and Inspire us all, but I also see many lost souls, hatred, violence, hopelessness, lack of Integrity, lack of love or compassion. I see kids taking their own lives, because they were tragically bullied to death. So Incredibly sad~ I also see a world which everything Is focusing on the outer layer, not the Inner. In a 100 years from now, none of us will be here, so does the outer layer matter most? No, It will all leave us. What you have In your soul & leave behind will matter most. Why especially do we put the superficial message out to young men & women that only outer beauty matters?

We must make better choices In this beautiful world we have been given, and we must live each day to the fullest capacity. We are obligated as parents to raise our children, not just have them. They will have joy, happiness, tears, trials, sad times, that all part of life. On a daily basis It Is up to each of us to work through our trials, help young hearts, and most of all see the beauty In each day, each person, contributing love and caring out Into the world Instead of hatred & violence. We need to help the youth & start with It In our homes.

One of my writings I touched down on recently that got much attention was In reaching out & training our young. Seems there Is this major bullying issue going on In the US. Why? We are not talking the normal kid stuff, kids will be kids & pick on each other, fight, that Is part of life. What I am referring to Is pure hatred, evil bullying....words & actions beyond belief In many young...I think the most relevant questions would be are; "Where are they deriving this behavior from?" "Where are they learning this?" "Why Is It acceptable? and why no consequences are given for their actions?" "Are they learning this at home?" (After all that Is the 1st training ground) " Are they In fact being bullied at home by care givers themselves?" "Why are parents not monitoring, protecting, paying attention?" We just can't blame schools and society, they learn at home first.

As a parent, every night we had dinner all together, at the family table, NO TV during dinner, and Grace for the food. Yes of course we had activities at times & work, when they were older, but did everyday we could, which was most days. We had great conversations at the table, and how we learned of each others day. We read much since babies, TV & TV games were limited, Outdoor activities were a must....Lots of friends In the house, or at a FEW other supervised households so you know what they were doing.... Yes they had kids freedom, if they were accountable for what they were doing, and not breaking house rules.

Years ago when I had young children, the Internet struck, right out of the world of dos. I foresaw the new age Of Internet dangers, I learned how to cyber lock a computer that my children new more about than me. I told them when they were 18 they could make their own choices. There was just an open, unregulated world of trouble at there fingertips, things they should not read or see, that I did not want Impressed on their forming minds yet. Much danger In a completely open world of Information, and sometimes those seeds of this can affect the young mind. I monitored music & movies until they were formed enough to read between the lines as an adult. You can't shield your kids from all dangers that lurk out there, but you can damn well put the effort In to try to control what you can, In your home environment. I made sure they were out doing other things, kids need to do, to just be kids.

I am not telling people how to parent, I am not perfect, no one Is, It Is all a learning process, I think much good old common sense Is needed here. I gave 100 percent to my best ability, and really had pure love, care & concern. I want to Inspire you to be your best, to have your children be their best. Just giving material things and leaving them open In a world of all technology, unsupervised, Is a far cry from what Is really needed, In raising kids. The reason I bring this up, Is because I think the loss of family & structure, Is the critical link missing In many homes these days...It Is not easy being a Parent, or mentor, probably the hardest job In the world, but "DO" your best, mind what they are doing, and don't leave them unprotected & raising themselves In a rapid changing world. Letting kids just do what they want, will not prepare them for the adult road ahead....Caring, Structure, Discipline = Love....It shows you care, and they matter.

I guess my BIGGEST question as a parent, "Why are you allowing young kids to be on the OPEN INTERNET UNSUPERVISED....Cell phones, texting, sexting, Facebook, My space, Blogs. Messaging. Kids are being bullied with no consequences for the mean, hurtful, writings, It Is In-humane, they are not face to face....Anyone can write anything & not feel It, or see the hurt & pain It can cause. I asked a few young late twenty to thirty year old friends what they thought about my subject this morning, and gave a brief outline of my base writing. I asked If they agreed that just blaming this new problem should be on Schools & Society alone, They all replied "NO" I asked do you agree that parents need to be held more accountable? They all agreed with me, "Yes" ~Matt said; "Parents need to be responsible too." Lauren said "Put the kids back on the playground & just let them duke It out like kids, & It will be over." Sheena responded to Lauren's comment, "That Is far better than the more painful, screwing of the mind, through writing." I really appreciated the Input.

My son recently wrote a page on Digital Privacy & The Great responsibility that comes with It as adults, to protect ourselves, It Is a great read.....Why are parents not being responsible for the dangers, and not protecting their children? Either as the victim or the bully's?

We have much to teach our young, In a rapidly changing world, who Is minding the kids? We should be teaching them values, love, Integrity, how to be more inner, peaceful, kind? Why are they not riding bikes, playing outside, why do they eat fast foods, get lazy, stay In the house, why do they bully, so viciously??? Why are they so unhealthy mentally & physically? We need to Inspire our young to be all they can be, instead of letting them hide behind a keyboard....Please take time to Inspire your children, spend time with them, lead them....My goal Is to Inspire...© Diane Masi

I would appreciate any input or comments on this post.

Whatever the present moment contains, accept it as if you had chosen it. Accept - then act. Always work with it, not against it. Make the present your friend and ally, not your opponent. This will miraculously transform your whole life.

Be mindful that happiness isn't based on possessions, power, or prestige, but on relationships with people we trust, love and respect.~ Diane

God and the Angels Mysteriously Always surround you.......when you need them most

This day last year 2010 there was a wild storm, I took this Video after, & caught a purple light from the spectrum...I honestly knew there was something very strange In the air, I felt It, & called It the "Purple Angel light" That night at 11:00 I got a call, my Dad fell Ill out of the blue, & almost bled to death, due to a strange leak In his body.... Thanks To Father Russel visiting, & Padre Pio prayers, he survived the night, emergency surgery & we were able to spend time with him for 2 more months to show our love ♥ ...The most horrific night of my life.... Got home at 5:00 am from Ohio Valley, could not fall asleep & saw an email on FB from my most treasured long time friend from 17 years ago, It had been sent at 10:00 that night, & I had not seen It yet...Not knowing of my Dad's Illness at the time he sent It, He & the email were the Greatest consolation, In hearing from him, It brought pure joy & smiles to me, on the most tragic night of life. Dad Is at Peace ♥ Prayers were given to him after midnight as It fell on Padre Pio's feast day...Ironically I found the Padre Pio quotes that rang true below...Diane~

"The longer the trial to which God subjects you, the greater the goodness in comforting you during the time of the trial and in the exaltation after the combat. " Padre Pio~
"Fear not because God is with you." Padre Pio~

Tim Janis " The Promise "- REFLECTIONS

So these are ours; faith, hope and love, but the greatest of these is Love. Corinthians 13:13

Solace

The best remedy for those who are afraid, lonely or unhappy is to go outside, somewhere where they can be quiet, alone with the heavens, nature and God. Because only then does one feel that all is as it should be and that God wishes to see people happy, amidst the simple beauty of nature. I firmly believe that nature brings solace In all troubles. - Anne Frank

The cure for anything is salt water: sweat, tears, or the sea. - Isak Dinesen

"No one is sent by accident to anyone" ~ ACIM
We need to see the bigger, picture of life, through sweat & sometimes tears~ Sometimes things come to us In ways we had not expected. Some people or experiences are only stepping stones, to the road we need to be on. People come & go in our lives, and need to be valued for the part they played In it. If you cross paths with some people, and you lay out, In honesty where you are going, what you are doing & they don't fit In or want to go, so be It~ Be grateful for the time you had, & move forward, If they are not joining you at your level, or you at theirs, they are not meant to be In your life~ Stay with like minded partners, or people whose goals & visions match where you want to be....Stay on the path of your choice, the one that you feel Is right In your heart.

What I have witnessed & I believe to be true, a LIFE Is by far better than just a LIFESTYLE....there Is a huge difference~

Some people are tempted by everything around them and settle for and choose just a lifestyle, rather than a life, they can't stand for anything.......They endlessly are In search of things that bear no fruit of life~They just merely exist In fleeting things....Sadly many times I witnessed on their journey & at the end of the road, that Is a very empty place for them to be, they have said to me "I wish I would have done It differently, or have looked at the bigger picture" The old reflection they now see, Is one of emptiness.

Those that have created a life however, That I have seen on the journey & at the end of the road posses & pass on, abundance, joy, wealth of family, good friends, truth, goodness. The people with lives of truth vs a lifestyle, usually posses these attributes.

~Courage is one of the most important qualities we can have, and cultivating courage simply means taking your stand for what you want, and to be willing to take chances and make choices, you feel are right.

~Clarity is being able to see past the external conditions that surround us, In truth of what we really feel, want, and believe.

~Consistency, or persistence, helps us to follow through on what is really important, to keep going towards our dreams, no matter how many twists and turns the road may take.

~Conviction is developing the absolute certainty that your way is the right way for you to live, that you deserve to be happy, fulfilled,to have everything you want in your life.

~Compassion for ourselves and others is so important on our journey. Knowing an error learned, can be of great value.

~Confidence in our ourselves, and our ability to cope with whatever challenges life brings our way is a vital quality.

~Calmness, even in the midst of tears or chaos.

I "WISH" you to have the strength of confidence, courage, clarity, consistency, compassion, calmness, & conviction to live the "LIFE" of your true dreams~ Diane Masi

"Out of the Indian approach to life there comes a great freedom - an intense and absorbing love for nature; a respect for life; enriching faith in a Supreme Power; and principles of truth, honesty, generosity, equity, and brotherhood as a guide to mundane relations." ~ Luther Standing Bear, Oglala ~

By means of beauty all beautiful things become beautiful. For this appears to me the safest answer to give both to myself and others; and adhering to this, I think that I shall never fall, but that it is a safe answer both for me and any one else to give — that by means of beauty beautiful things become beautiful. " False words are not only evil in themselves, but they infect the soul with evil." The words of Socrates, as quoted or portrayed in Plato's works

Foundations & Grounding

Having a good foundation and being grounded Is the best advantage you can have In this world.....Good old fashioned footing. With time & new era's always ahead, things change...Young ideas come In ~ I think that Is great, and I myself am very open to new ideas, however, I think young people need to be very wary of not laying good foundations. It seems to me on many occasions I see so very many young people rejecting the old stable concepts and philosophy's that have served mankind well, way back from ancient times. Basic, simple, foundations to leading happy, healthy lives... Seems like they throw It out the door, for some Pop Cultures, New developed Philosophy's, followers, not leaders In grounding, guided basic principals.

I see so very many young, rejecting God, rejecting time honored traditions..I think you need the balance of both...New age, needs old age footing.. I am appalled at the lack of respect toward religions, and reverence of God, mockery's... Do some people think they do not need It? At least If they don't think they do, they ought to not mock It, or anyone else for It... Careful there. Much danger can lurk In the world If you are leaving yourself open to receiving It.

For me personally, I was very fortunate In my teens & twenty's to still be wild, free & young, but through the gifts from my Grandparent's I was taught, honor, respect & reverence to God, his mighty power & blessings.... I was taught great moral values, a foundation no one could shake In me, as far back as 12, I remember standing on my ground, despite peer pressures....A-mist my young free-ness & choices, those good footed bricks left me grounded, and layed a strong foundation for adult life ahead. This keep me on solid ground when the strong winds blew....Life Is great, but there are always trying circumstances that we will all encounter In life. With good footing, you stay focused during challenges, not wondering aimlessly, searching for answers. A-mist the worldly chaos & challenges, I was able to see the answer, from the stillness within.

I truly feel sad at the lack of good foundation in today's pop culture.....Everyone seems to want to go with the current trend, and rejects the ancient wisdom's. It Is disturbing, the rate of violence, hatred and lack of moral grounding. I see Kids that have no problem resolution skills to go into adult life, they were never taught...Alas, some think everything Is okay no matter who they hurt to obtain what they want, they think everything Is of this world only & do not have foot work to survive here, let alone In eternity...which many never even consider as a thought. Eternity Is a long, long time....something to ponder.

I think If we keep passing the old on to the new life, the next generations can learn to survive all this better...If you are a parent, or have the opportunity to pass on good SOLID foundation to anyone... teach good old fashioned ground work...You will do the next generation a favor....

My words to the young, new ideas are always good, fresh perspectives In current times, but be very wary of not in-taking what has proved to work for generations, many, many, years past...Many foundations are built with bricks from God & I would not reject this idea....you may need It someday....

I have seen my father pass away at 82 this past year,my step father passed away at age 70 seven years ago, my my Mom Is almost 82 now, My Step Mom 81...I believe this was the last generation that knew exactly what hard lives & physical work were, (In America only) they survived many tragedies In their days & tried to live the great American dream the best they could....Our lives are nothing compared to what these generations have lived. Most came from parents that really were immigrants here In the USA, they came for opportunity and they lived even harder lives...

These generations have seen much change & If you are wise enough to have one of them left In your life.....learn from them....Every era has It's difficult times, but these people had good moral foundations, strong backgrounds & belief systems..........Wisdom... If you look at the USA, the most solid of people put out In society come from strong family culture, values, faith based, whatever the heritage & these are wise families preparing their youth. Learn, pay attention, the modern world needs old ideas and input too. ©Diane Masi~

A loving heart is the beginning of all knowledge. Thomas Carlyle

Love & eternal life are all that really matter, we are only on this earth for a short matter of time. Make a difference, live to the highest, loving potential. Love Is the balm that heals all wounds, love replaces pain, love Is the most valuable gift we have. Love Is the source of all knowledge. Have the most beautiful week~ Diane

Mark 12:33 And to love Him with all the heart, with all the understanding, with all the soul, and with all the strength, and to love one's neighbor as oneself.

2 Corinthians 4:16 Seeing the Invisible.... Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet the inward man is being renewed day by day.

The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen nor touched, but are felt in the heart.

What lies In each of our hearts and souls Is the most precious gift we have, not an object In the world can compare to that. Hopefully God lives In your heart to experience this pure gift. Diane
