I have a right to be angry, hurt, depressed, sad, and resentful.” Learning to avoid this kind of thinking is one of my secrets for living a life of inner peace, success, and happiness. Anytime you’re filled with resentment, you’re turning the controls of your emotional life over to others to manipulate. At the root of virtually all spiritual practice is the notion of forgiveness. Think about every single person who has ever harmed you, cheated you, defrauded you, or said unkind things about you. Your experience of them is nothing more that a thought that you carry around with you. These thoughts of resentment, anger, and hatred represent slow, debilitating energies that will disempower you. If you could release them, you would know more peace. You practice forgiveness for two reasons: to let others know that you no longer wish to be in a state of hostility with them and to free yourself from the self-defeating energy of resentment. Send love in some form to those you feel have wronged you and notice how much better you feel.
Dance With My Father by Luther Vandross~ We were fortunate enough to have two Fathers in our family, sadly they are both gone from this earth...many days and nights I wish I could see them, talk or hug them again. Recently I watched videos I had taped of both of them throughout the years, it was so nice to see and hear them, very lucky to have these memories...I still miss them both daily....How I wish I could Dance with my Fathers again.....In loving memory of my Fathers, the strong generation, who lived through very tough times, who loved us all very much, they lived simply, they both appreciated the family they had......Diane

This video of the outpouring of love from our community for Sean Ruane made me cry, we are blessed to be from this area of great people, and we are blessed to have known Sean, and to have had him serve our nation....Thank You Captain Sean Ruane~ Many Prayers to your Wife, Son, Family, Community and Nation for the loss. Sean Ruane died with three airmen on Jan. 7, when the helicopter he was flying crashed during a training flight in England. A combat rescue pilot, husband and father of a 14-month old son..~ Diane Masi
