2023
A New Year is fast approaching in a few days. I think every year we are so graciously given is a complete and total blessing, and a chance to celebrate more life. We must never forget our ancestors and those who have gone before us. We must continue to pray for our families souls and give them a chance to look down upon us, this is very important for all future generations to come. In most every culture around the world this is practiced widely.
We as human beings all have good and hard years, some suffer tremendous loss during the year, heartache and pain and other years are joyful from beginning to end, for most people it's a complete mixture of both all year, as this is life.... We must accept it all and we have to be grateful for the time given on this Earth. Living in the present moment and being mindful is perfection. We must hold onto our faith. I'm feeling blessed and grateful to be offered a chance to walk into the New Year and so prayerfully with all the Graces that God has to offer. My Wish for all is have a beautiful, blessed, peaceful and wonderful New Year. Hopefully with more joy and less sorrow. If you are troubled,I pray you have faith for a complete deep healing. The most important thing is to stay grateful for our joys and continue to be grateful in our sorrows. When we accept life for the way it is, peace comes to us in every way. If there's something that's within your control that you want to change, then do that. Look inside yourself introspectively and truthfully. Rest all else on God and the answers come. Personally I try to stay away from the materialistic or egoistic world. I'm also very careful about what I follow and see on social media, this can be a big danger if what you're seeing and reading doesn't align with your soul. I find it incredibly sad that people seek continuous attention for their ego on social media, what is important in life can't be found in the shallow. Don't get me wrong. I love sharing with friends and family across the networks, but I'm very careful what I allow to enter into my being or who I follow specifically.
I try to stay outside in nature more when I'm able to and appreciate the beauty that surrounds us. Simplicity is such a key factor. I live a very simplistic life....I am extremely grateful for that. If we individually care for others, the world we live in, we collectively start to make it a better place for all. I end and start the year and complete gratitude for all I am and all the blessings I have in my life. I'm feeling extremely blessed and my wish is that you do too. Happy New Year 2023.~ Diane Masi

The Homeless
Something hit me in the heart, very deeply in the heart today and very profoundly to the point of tears. A fairly young man maybe in his late twenties or early thirties with two dogs, a bowl and a jug of water that he's clearly been using over and over again, like an old milk jug, filling it somewhere he can access water. It was sweltering hot and he was on the pavement very unclean and unshaved in ragged clothes. I've always been one of those people since a young child wishing I could solve the world's problems. It's always affected me very deeply from a very young age when something is wrong or someone was in need. I myself always fed every kid in the neighborhood whose parents did not feed them and even those that did have food at home, were still welcome to food as well. If I had it I gave it. I have found out over and over again later in life people have reached out to me when I needed something and didn't always have it anymore.I would think to myself what did I ever do for someone to be so kind to me. Even though I had my ups and downs in life financially, It was a good life basically. I had a skills from a technical school to sustain a living. It wasn't easy, you only made money when you worked. No sick days, no vacation days, no 401K, no retirement plan, no health insurance. These things have to be done on your own back, and you sure had to do a lot of work just to survive if you were working on your own.. Being homeless was always the biggest fear in my mind, especially being a single Mom raising a family. There were good times and bad times, but the priority was always to keep a roof over our heads. I consider and I'm extremely grateful that I was very blessed to thrive survive and have many good blessings in my life. Some are so unfortunate that they aren't able to do this at all. They don't have the love and support of a family.
My heart ached for this man today as I reached in my wallet to give him a few dollars. I have limited means myself right now in my older age, no longer able to work as I did for 47 years. But I felt a great need to give him something. People will say maybe he's a drug addict or an alcoholic and I don't know that for sure. whatever the case, he sure looked hungry. As I handed him a few dollars, I told him "I hope God will bless you" and he wished that back to me. When I got home I prayed that many people will stop and give him an abundance of money, and lots of food for him and his dogs can be purchased. I prayed he would get more money than I could give him. I could not give more myself.
as I drove away I completely broke down in tears. The thought of so many people and animals living on the streets hungry is just heartbreaking. and the threat that looms for many people of losing everything is a reality everyday. There are many people that live pay to pay and one job loss or one unfortunate event can cause them to be homeless. I constantly pray for the end of hunger, war, poverty, homelessness, violence and suffering of people and animals. I pray that one day we will find peace across this world and share all good things that we have, starting with love and compassion. I like many have seen this many times in a week where somebody is out begging for something, If I have it I will give something. Sometimes I say I hope you're not using the money for drugs or alcohol. Today I did not. Something in my heart told me this man was in desperation with these two pups. I'm hoping my prayers are answered and he received an abundance of money to get food and shelter for the night for him and his dogs. I hope one day he is restored to a normal life, as I wish for all the people living on the streets. May they know the comfort of warm food in their belly, a warm or cool home, depending on the weather. a soft bed to fall in and a place to dream. That's all I can say about this today. It hurt and touched my heart in a deep way. Be grateful for what you have always and never look down on another. You don't know their circumstances. Even people with labor skills can only use their backs so many hours a day to make money and survive in this world. Be kind. My wish is that each of you are grateful for every sunrise and sunset. I wish all to have a roof over your heads and an abundance of food. May your family and children be safe, and your pets too. May you come to know the love and blessings of God.

Hello May 2022
Well Hello all and happiest May, the most beautiful month of the year!!! I hope this May of 2022 you grow as much love in your hearts, as the blooming flowers that come this spring. It's been a long 2 years of a global pandemic. So much has changed in so many lives. Sadly many lives were lost. Keep your loved ones in your hearts, let the love radiate like a bright shining star. We turn our thoughts and hearts to the people of Ukraine, pray soon that their lives are restored to goodness and beauty and that they can be taken out of refuge. We pray and are thankful for the good people around them who have taken them in to refuge, the ones that are comforting them in their time of need..... We pray for the poor souls lost senselessly. It is up to all the people of the world to keep peace and beauty in our nations. We must wish goodness for all others, we are really united as one when it comes to the heart and soul. What we put out in the world comes back to us. It is up to us to keep and restore the beauty of the land God has given us. It is up to each of us to make the world a better place. As I'm writing this there is a beautiful thunderstorm, one that will wash everything clean. Everything will become new and beautiful in spring. We also can wash clean our hearts in our lives and make the world beautiful and clean again.
If we practice everyday mindfulness, live in the moment of each and everyday, be completely mindful of our choices and thoughts, we contribute to the moment of this time and this day. Love and goodness has been practiced and handed down for centuries to overcome the evil of this world. It is all up to us to practice goodness daily.
We must never take for granted the comforts that we have been given, and the gifts God has granted us. If you have children, the most beautiful thing you can teach them is to have the spirit of God in their hearts. Love is everlasting. Love never fails us. It's so important to focus on the good things. It is so urgently important to nurture the heart and soul on a daily basis. It brings peace, joy and hope to all that surrounds us if we put good thoughts into the universe. gratitude is the key of life. We must be grateful in each moment for what we have, life is fleeting.
I wish you the most beautiful month of May, I wish growth, love, peace, hope, joy and happiness in your hearts. I wish everything good to all human kind in every aspect of life. This moment is the only moment we know for certain that we have. Respect that, respect others, respect this planet, respect all people from every background. Praise and worship God and be grateful in all moments, God living in your heart and soul is the only steadfast thing you can rely on. Strengthen the heart, this is the most important task of all. My wishes for all to live this day in peace, joy and beauty. May every sunrise and every sunset bring you hope for a new day, one filled with the love of God. Happiest May 2022! May all things become beautiful.

Autumn
I wake today and it's the first day of Autumn. The weather is reflecting it...nice cool temperatures.
I love the fall season. It's a time to sit back, rest and reflect. It's a time for all good things that come from harvest, like making squash soups, tomato soups, stews and wonderful comfort food.
It's cozy warm blankets, good books and warm fall drinks of teas, coffee and hot or cold apple cider. It's pumpkins and leaves and all good memories of days gone by and wishes and hopes for days ahead.
It's filled with laughter and joy of little children delighting over fall festivities, It's hay rides, costumes, pumpkin carving and painting, just a great fall and Halloween fun. It's apples, caramels, popcorn and candies.
It's a gathering of friends and families enjoying bonfires under the exemplary dark skies on a crisp, clear, cool fall evening looking up at the stars..
It's puppy snuggles and warm hugs and kisses from little ones.
Fall shows us the beauty of harvest and bounty. It also shows us when the season changes, things can die off and still be amazingly beautiful...
It's bright red, orange and brown leaves under a brilliantly blue and white sky in cool temps, while still under the silght warmth of the fall sun.
It's a time to pause, take a break from the summer heat, reflect, go inward, and take in all the beauty God has given us.
Happy Autumn season to all. 🍁🍂

The Pandemic: We are all in this together.
The Pandemic: We are all in this together.
All across the globe we are in this pandemic together. We share equal responsibility individually as humans to protect all lives, well one would hope that all are.
Kudos to the many individuals across the world that have taken precautions to save other lives. Shame on those whose selfishly~willingly or unwillingly had people die from covid-19 because of their own selfishness. May God have mercy on you and your self-centeredness.
Heartfelt prayers and condolences to those who couldn't see their Parents or loved ones and watched them die alone with strangers. The ones that stood outside facilities waving, sending kisses or talking on a cell phones to their loved ones In hopes they would one day see them again, but sadly did not.
Many thanks to the brave men and women who tirelessly and endlessly worked and are still working to save lives. The ones that watched many people take their last breath. The ones that were there holding the phones so a dying patient could speak to their loved ones. The ones that watched piles of body bags line up in trucks of people that couldn't survive Covid. They saw their patients die, they saw their colleagues die. Many suffered and survived Covid themselves but are living with the repercussions of the illness themselves.
Cheers to the Moms of 2020 and 2021 who had to bravely give birth alone, or at some point even if their partners were allowed to go their families were not. Cheers to these Moms who had to stay in the house alone with a newborn, They couldn't take the baby out or have visitors in. Great grandparents and many grandparents and friends and family couldn't see or hold the new babies.
Heartfelt love and prayers to the elderly that sat alone and frightened in a nursing home for a year, unable to see their loved ones.
We are all in this together. We wear masks, we social distance, we stay in to protect all lives unselfishly for the care of all human life. Others have refused to help save lives. They have gone about their business, not a care in the world or concern for another human being. They've had parties, traveled, gone out and about everywhere with no concern that they may be carrying the virus to someone's loved one. Somebody may have lost their life because of their selfishness. What a shame, because we're all in this together. Just as we are all in it together to provide love and peace on the planet.
You may say people can die of the flu, cancer or get hit by a car as an excuse, so you can selfishly go on living your life and disregarding other lives.
Personally and responsibly I much rather save somebody's loved one or my own. I along with most of the population gladly gave up a year with many loved ones outside of their circle or area, in hopes of having a future with all loved ones, God willing. That's the risk I personally choose to take, as many, many people across the world have. I'd like to think I'm not so selfish that I would risk the lives of others by being irresponsible.
We don't have to stop living entirely, but we had to curb what we do, we were all responsible for taking many precautions.
There are so many people across this world that have not seen their loved ones, parents, brothers and sisters, nieces and nephews, grandchildren and great-grandchildren unselfishly. There are so many people that never got to say goodbye or have a proper send off for their loved ones. They couldn't kiss them goodbye or even grieve and mourn properly.
Some people use the excuses of why they don't stop living. If you knew you were going to get the flu, or cancer, or be in a car accident, you would take every precaution in the world to prevent it from ever happening. We KNOW about covid-19. We are responsible for preventing that spread as best we can.
Of course life can deal many blows naturally, but that's on God's time, not ours. God gives us free will.... Our job as human beings is to prevent the transmission of this virus to SAVE LIVES.
In the United States alone we have lost a half a million people. To someone here and around the world, each of those lives lost mattered greatly. You can believe it's political or rationalize your irresponsible behavior away, but we as a whole across the globe know the truth. An ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure, as they say.
We are all in this together. May you and your loved ones stay safe and healthy. May you take every precaution you can. We cannot let our guards down now. We can't risk being irresponsible so that more lives are lost~ each life matters.
We are all in this together. ❣️

Goodbye Summer., Hello fall!
Goodbye Summer... Hello fall.
For most of us in the USA from the east coast to the middle of the country, the long beautiful lengthy days of summer are over. The late-day warm sun sets, now turn into early sunsets and cool evenings. The beach towels and toys are neatly tucked away, waiting for children in happiness and delight to unpack them again next summer.
The carefreeness of summer fun, is now replaced by structure and school activities. The sun kissed skin of children will be replaced with static hair under a cap and coat on rainy days. Adults gathering on patios in a late-night cooking and drinking will be replaced by slipping into early evening PJs and hot tea at night.
Each season has its own beauty and value in our lives. The long hot days of summer and excitement will be replaced by warm apple pies, pumpkins, fancy coffees and crunching fall leaves underfoot and the amazing beauty of the Fall foliage on a crisp sunny Autumn day. Children will gleam in excitement of pumpkins and costumes, hayrides and fall activities.
We will settle in and enjoy the bounty of the harvest with good home cooking, to replace fruits, sandwiches and salads of the summer.
We always must take time to value and appreciate those who labor to bring us the food and fruits of life, without their hard work we would not have all this bountiful food to enjoy.
Fall is the time to step back relax and reflect, we will wait in anticipation of the winter days and holidays ahead. Soon after Fall, the bright gold and yellow leaves will be replaced by blankets of snow, hot chocolate and tea ... coats, early sleepy nights, blankets, colds and thermometers and quietness when the holidays settle down. We will await the light to come brighter a minute everyday in the new year, and wait for the promise and hope of the newness of spring and the joys of Summer again.

Where God lives, beauty lives.
When we seek God from the inside out and we are one with God in self, beauty surrounds us in every way. When God is inside you, everything in life becomes much easier and focused when you trust in the Lord with all your heart, goals then are easier to obtain, there's no confusion or stress, tasks are easy to carry out.
You can always tell where God lives because beauty surrounds the people that he resides in, you can tell they are living in faith and trust, it radiates from the inside to the outside in their lives.....A beautiful living space, no matter how humble is an example of God radiating. People take pride where God is, as they want to do their best to make sure their surroundings are beautiful.
We must never forget our purposes in life with family and friends. We must create a little castle where ever we live, no matter what financial means we have... We can always make sure that we are creative in keeping our environment safe, clean and pleasing to be in, to help keep your heart full and your soul calm.
I look around sometimes and I see so much hurry and stress, sometimes I see very angry people, people not cherishing time or spending time with the family, not prioritizing their personal relationships or personal goals, just everything is overwhelming or chaotic, everything is a problem, everything is stressful. It doesn't take much to do the tasks at hand with a little faith and trust, and with lots of love and gratefulness you can still focus on the family or friendships and still get all the other things that you need to get done.
Creating stress, this is all so unnecessary, fill your heart and soul with love. in my life I choose not to be around anybody that has any negativity, I just pray for them and wish them well and stay around positive people.
Sometimes people forget why they've even have a family or relationships, they don't even communicate or appreciate their loved ones in a single day, they don't come from a place of gratitude so it becomes not a priority, they are not living in the present moments, they are not mindful of themselves, their surroundings or anybody else, this is truly sad and not a good place to be. Staying present in moments is key.

We only have this day in our lives are we are never promised the next, it's up to us to make it the best out of the day that is given.
We must always take responsibility for what needs to be done, and for what we are responsible for, we must take responsibility to rid ourselves of stress, through prayer mindfulness, gratitude and asking God for help...... It is essential to seek God inside our hearts and souls, as much as we need food and water, we must stay humble and also asking God for what we need, the right answer will come when we are truly speaking from our hearts

When you seek God first even in your trials and labors, each day becomes so much easier, you remain calm and focused, you work through everything much more smoothly. Life is not perfect there are bumps in the road, but when we have faith guard shines light into our lives.....
Where God lives you don't procrastinate, blame, argue, and you don't create chaos, confusion and stress. When God resides in your heart and soul, you beautify your life by having a soul purpose and meaning. Build a life for your friends and family and for yourself, so that you can enjoy and your family has a soft safe place to rest called home. It takes less time to do things in small increments, and have small goals for each day of the week, than it does to be overwhelmed by piles's of tasks to do all at once. Pray when you're overwhelmed and God will strengthen you.

Seek inside 1st and you shall find the kingdom of God! Let God reign first in your life......let him reign in your life in each and every moment, when you are mindful of God you become mindful of yourself and this helps stay present. Moments matter, they only come along once.
When you do this, I promise everything becomes successful and beautiful, your relationships and your surroundings bloom like the nature God gives us in Spring.

Prayer is the most powerful weapon on this Earth! When you connect with God as one and you connect with each other on this level, and you stay in present mindfulness, we create a better minutes and moments, days, nights, weeks months, and year. When you practice gratitude, you get more, you start to see the gifts you are given ass blessings!
I hope this spring season fills you with all the beautiful things that God has given us all. May you stay grateful and present in each moment and strengthen yourself through the power of God...... find peace in your heart and soul to beautify your life, relationships and surroundings. just look around at nature and know there's something greater than yourself and when you seek and believe you will find it.

Humble Yourself in Awe.
I woke today and while taking in the amazing beauty in nature given to us from God I am just awestruck at the incredible beauty....... The azure blue sky, the billowy clouds, the deep green grass and trees, the beautiful flowers and birds who surround us, we need to humble ourselves in awe of this precious gift of life and nature never to be taken for granted. Humble yourself and give thanks, know that simplicity matters, people matter, not things, status or greed. We need to focus on the natural gifts given to us daily, we can't think of ourselves only......we need to think about gratitude, our ancestors and family, friends or other people in general, our here and now, our future of this planet. Stop for a minute and humble yourself under God's sky..........stay in awe and be thankful. Contribute to peace and beauty..........It may change your perspective in a minute. © Diane Masi

Make America Diverse Again!!! © Diane Masi
America Is a nation of Freedom, we are only Diversity.....None of us are really from here originally, accept for the Native Americans, this was their land. The USA>>> we represent "One Nation Under God" and we are all nations, we are Religious freedom, we are free to practice your beliefs, what ever you conceive God to be.
Personally I practice Catholicism, this is how I was raised, and how I find my strength and peace.... We are taught in the Catholic Faith to value and respect people of all races and creeds, no matter what faith you practice or what culture/nation you are from.....
I embrace all cultures, this is what the foundation of my Blog and writings are about, loving one another, the basis is to create a "Landslide of Love" I founded this blog in 2011.. I embrace all religion or beliefs as long as it is free of harm and abuse to any human beings, and that is not a specific religion, its any that do harm to others in or out of the US.
After all God is Love, and there are basic laws, love your neighbor, thou shall not kill. In the US alone we have people who claim to be Christian but persecute others and abuse people and children, this is not Christian or a representation of Christ at all.
All beliefs basically mirror all the same basic law whether you are raised into Judaism, Christianity, Islam, Bahá'í Faith, Hinduism, Taoism, Buddhism, Sikhism, We are all taught to Love, not KILL, to go within and take that inward love and joy out into the world! We need to embrace and love others from all walks of life~ We are all also taught remember our Ancestors and honor them for what we received from them in life and faith, its always about the next generation~ I am forever grateful to my family and ancestors. We are all taught to love God 1st....... We need respect self and others.....
At no time should anyone cause harm to any one, watch anyone suffer and not help. If you do cause harm to any human or animal or don't help one another, you are not living the true faith or Gods law or any wise law taught. If you cause harm to any form of life you will suffer the torment of all eternity, especially for killing anyone. That being said... I welcome you with open arms like our Statue of Liberty if your intentions are a better way of life or refuge and you come to bring love to our wonderful America for you and your family.

The USA needs to keep our doors open to all who seek a better way of life, those who seek freedom from war, starvation, oppression and harm. Most all people from various cultures and foreign lands bring a wealth of culture, good moral values, good family values, (something the ladder generations are losing here) they want to work hard, protect their families and live the American Dream, just like we do, they should never be denied access to our land if coming in with good intentions.
I have many friends from all walks of life, I have deeply loved others from different walks of life...... I also am the grandchild of 3 direct Immigrant Grandparents, and one great grandparent who all arrived here to New York On boats after long periods of waiting. My Grandparents worked so incredibly hard (as most immigrants do) to give my parents and myself a better way of life! I am of Irish/Italian/German heritage, my grandparents brought their values to America and taught me well.
We are all human, we all basically want the same things in life...we cant change who America is now, after all Our amazing Men and Women fought and died for our freedom in this land, and even to protect others in foreign lands. I am forever grateful to those who serve and served, including members of my family, I feel changing our face denies everything they lived and died for.
I am so incredibly happy that Pope Francis is standing by our America and is teaching us to stand for what is right and humane, of course he would, he represents Christ.... Pope Francis is an amazing man and humanitarian 1st and foremost “It’s hypocrisy to call yourself a Christian and chase away a refugee or someone seeking help, someone who is hungry or thirsty, toss out someone who is in need of my help,” Quoted: Pope Francis.

Jesus taught us: “I say to you, what you did not do for one of these least ones, you did not do for me."
I pray and seek the answer daily as I am sure most good people around the world do. Can we bring about Peace in this world, can we stop war, hate, oppression, greed, hunger, suffering? Yes we can, one Individual at a time, one nation at a time. For right now, lets "Make America Diverse Again!!!" © Diane Masi

But understand this, that in the last days there will come times of difficulty. For people will be lovers of self, lovers of money, proud, arrogant, abusive, disobedient to their parents, ungrateful, unholy, heartless, unappeasable, slanderous, without self-control, brutal, not loving good, treacherous, reckless, swollen with conceit, lovers of pleasure rather than lovers of God, having the appearance of godliness, but denying its power. We are living in the last days.....2 Timothy 3:1-5
