There are so many voices and choices In this world. It Is up to us to be very discerning of where these voices and influences are coming from....Are they God like? Are they good voices? We all have so much to choice from, but we must be fully aware of what these voices are speaking. We must know If they are God based Influences.
It Is amazing on how some shudder at hearing a quote from a bible or the good word, and won't listen, but will listen to a super star or a professor (not saying all are negative.)There are many positive people and forces In this world, however we must be sure of the root of the voice and be very careful In choosing what we follow........In every culture new age religions and voices are popping up and are taking the word of God twisting It out of context to conform minds, and sending out mind altering messages, some that bring destruction to the body, heart, soul, family life, compromising values, respect and contradictory messages (hidden) not Truth and infusing man made laws (dangerous turf)......... Be careful, Gods law Is simplistic, peaceful, brings Joy and Love and does not harm you, your mind, or others.....Careful In what you hear. Mind your ears....
We like to be Independent In our decisions, but be careful of negative forces In Mass Media, Music, Television, Internet, Technology, and Culture.
The good Shepperd teaches us calls his sheep by name, and leads them out. We must remember someone beloved Is calling your name in tones warm with affirmation. Now magnify that sound, so it drowns out all destructive influences and negative voices. In Jesus teachings he is pleased with you, as most solid ancient religious teaching, they delight in you, protect you. Celebrate Peaceful, Loving, Godlike Influences today! Diane
I love these verses In the bible........John 10:4 When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice.
(Recognize the good voice)
John 10:1-10
The Good Shepherd and His Sheep
“Very truly I tell you Pharisees, anyone who does not enter the sheep pen by the gate, but climbs in by some other way, is a thief and a robber. The one who enters by the gate is the shepherd of the sheep. The gatekeeper opens the gate for him, and the sheep listen to his voice. He calls his own sheep by name and leads them out. When he has brought out all his own, he goes on ahead of them, and his sheep follow him because they know his voice. But they will never follow a stranger; in fact, they will run away from him because they do not recognize a stranger’s voice.” Jesus used this figure of speech, but the Pharisees did not understand what he was telling them.
Therefore Jesus said again, “Very truly I tell you, I am the gate for the sheep. All who have come before me are thieves and robbers, but the sheep have not listened to them. I am the gate; whoever enters through me will be saved. They will come in and go out, and find pasture. The thief comes only to steal and kill and destroy; I have come that they may have life, and have it to the full.
Peter 2:20 His divine power has granted to us all things that pertain to life and godliness, through the knowledge of him who called us to his own glory and excellence.
Really carefully pay attention and know what you hear..soooo much out there!
